I'm in school, taking a course in C++. I've been using a Windows machine and Visual Studio 2017. However, I spilled water on my computer, completely frying it. (This has been the finals week from hell.) I'm now trying to use my 10 year old Macbook. I downloaded Visual Studio for Mac only to discover it's not compatible with C++. I see that you can edit C++ using Xcode, but I am wondering if I will be able to open and edit a solution that was written using Windows Visual Studio. If not, what IDE would I be able to use?
