Using Firefox 60.3.0esr running on CentOS 7.5 I cannot open https://www.stackoverflow.com - have submitted this question from a Windows OS using Chrome. Any ideas as to why?
It would seem that an application that I was developing was not behaving itself and affected Firefix. After a reset, I am able to access stackoverflow (whew!) and edit this question using the same Firefox as above.
