Editing a list automatically

This may sound very trivial to most of you. I have to modify the content of a text file that looks like this

file:/C:/mallet/CI_all/2012271201_1903-06-06_ed-1_seq-1_ocr.txt

In a way that everything before the date gets erased like this "1903-06-06_ed-1_seq-1_ocr.txt". The full list includes 4679 items. The final aim is to have them in chronological order. Can anybody help?
