I am currently working on large excel files, and yes it is a pain. However, I have just discovered that there are classes, provided from Microsoft, that can be used to manipulate Excel files using C#. I think editing large excel files using C# is more efficient than editing using the GUI (correct me if I am wrong).
My only concern is how reliable the manipulation is? Is there any functionality that can be done only using the graphical interface?
