Alternative camera devices to Sony that supports WEB api

I previously used the sony apis to develop a custom solution. It is basically an android applications that need to control a remote camera connected via wifi.

Now that sony no longer offers camera with web api, i'm looking for alternatives.

Can anyone suggest a good web API (if it exist) or vendor with cameras that:

  • offer a good quality (mirrorless cameras, think QX-10/30/100 - good sensor)
  • an android application can connect via Wifi directly to the camera
  • offer web API to control the settings (focal length, iso, etc), get the liveview and obviously control when to shoot and browse/download images.

I did google but most API i found are either for USB connection or require an additional hardware in between.
