I want to know what the secret sauce is that allows a website to be navigated like a native app through Firefox (for TV) or the Silk browser on Fire TV. This question may apply to other browsers on similar android-based tv boxes.
By 'like a native app', I mean: Use the directional pad on the remote to move the focus around) on the Fire TV as opposed to using the remote to move a cursor and 'click' on things.
And this is opposed to how most websites are navigated, that is, the browser presents a virtual mouse cursor that you can move around and 'click' on things.
The only website I've run across that, when loaded, hides the virtual cursor, is youtube.com/tv. I tried looking for something obvious in the source, but didn't see anything.
