We can redirect dmesg or any other command output into a file. But how can we redirect dmesg or any other command into a buffer in a program.

Is it possible to detect how many times the user opened other installed apps? If yes then how can we do this? For those who are saying not possible:- Screenshot of app available on playstore which is displaying usage counts
