Changing wordpress multisite database prefix with number(i.e. wp_2_xxx, wp_3_xxx etc)

I am making a new wordpress multisite, the database created for each new site has as prefix of wp_2_xxx, wp_3_xxx etc, Can we give our own prefix instead of the number which are created automatically. Also it should check it is unique or not. Kindly provide solution for it.
