Magento 2.2 show text in phtml file to only certain customer group

on

I am using Magento 2.2.5

I want to hide some text in a phtml file to all customer groups except one using some kind if 

customer group = 4 then 
'text'
else
'other text'

It seems like it should be simple but I am struggling.
