How to disable the handwriting panel in Windows 10

I am using a windows 10 tablet and when I use the stylus to enter/edit text in a text box, the handwriting panel pops up. This is a new windows 10 feature but I want to disable this for the time being since my Universal windows app users are having trouble using the handwriting panel. As long as I use a finger touch instead of the stylus I get the standard keyboard. Could someone help with a solution to disable the handwriting panel when I use a stylus?
