Need help uploading second website on same hosting on which my one site is already published

I have an hosting account and one website is published on it. I have added another domain on the same hosting package. now i want to upload my new website on the second domain, Kindly guide me how can i upload. I opened public_html folder but there is already present my website (the first one). Should i just upload my new website to this folder or is there another method to upload it.
